New Approach for F&B Clients. Enter “The Coach”.

Cuisine Street is a new eatery that already has a devoted following thanks to their inventive dishes. We are Cuisine Street’s first inventory system, just like many of our other F&B clients.

That means they had no point of reference or knowledge base to rely on.

Yellow Dog does the very best it can to prepare, guide, and then train the team at Cuisine Street through a successful go-live.

Everyone there felt great and optimistic. We transitioned them over to support and reminded them we were just a phone call away.

Then what happened? Life happened.

For the users at Cuisine Street, normal job pressures came back in, fast.

Naturally, they no longer had hours a day to learn about inventory. It’s not like they worked in inventory every day, just a few times per week.

Their first month-end came up and they scrambled to find all those great training guides they used when we were holding their hand. Overwhelmed, they began to let things slip.

See, even though everything was set up for them and they were trained to start using their inventory system, real life required just a little more coaching.

Enter our program for SMB (small and medium-sized business) Food & Beverage clients. We adapted to help our clients succeed.

Right in that critical period where we’d watched other clients struggle, the Coach proactively booked a meeting and an audit with Cuisine Street.

Through the audit, their Coach identified that some recipes were not accurate, and that a certain user had gotten off track on maintaining some of their items.

They set up an action plan for Cuisine Street.

The outcome: Cuisine Street was able to get those process issues fixed, ensuring that they were maintaining clean and accurate data quickly, allowing their Coach to zero in on reporting that could help Cuisine Street better manage their business.

The coaching audit kept Cuisine Street from making larger mistakes that would limit the usefulness of their inventory system down the road, and the focus on identifying and analyzing reports allowed them better visibility into the operation of the business.
